Twitch Extension

Sewer Home: Privacy Notice

Last updated September 11, 2026

Sewer Home is a Twitch extension that lets viewers collect trading cards and equip an avatar or a hat that then appears in the streamer's game. This notice covers the extension and the service behind it, both operated by Merc.Camp.

What we store

Nothing at all until you tap Enter the mercenary camp and Twitch asks whether you want to share your identity. Decline, and the extension shows the card catalogue and stores nothing about you.

Once you share it, we keep:

  • Your Twitch user ID and login name.
  • Which avatar and hat you have equipped.
  • Which cards you own, and how many of each.
  • The packs you have earned: where each one came from (a subscription, a cheer, or a channel-points reward), when it was opened, and which cards it contained.
  • The identifier of each Twitch event we have already handled, so the same subscription or redemption cannot grant a pack twice.

What we do not store

No email address, no real name, no payment information. We never see your Twitch password. We do not record the content of chat messages, we run no advertising and no third-party analytics inside the extension, and we do not sell or share any of this with anyone.

Why we store it

Every item above exists so the extension can do the one thing it is for: show you the cards you own and put your chosen avatar on screen in the stream. Your login name is also how we recognise a viewer who has a card named after them, so it can be granted automatically.

Where it lives

In a PostgreSQL database on Merc.Camp's own Kubernetes infrastructure. Your Twitch user ID is passed to the streamer's game client so it can draw your avatar; nothing else leaves that infrastructure.

How long we keep it

For as long as the extension is installed on the channel, so your collection is still there when you come back. Ask us to delete it and we will.

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] with your Twitch username and we will erase your collection, your equipped items and your pack history. No account and no form needed.

Revoking the extension's access from your Twitch settings stops any further collection immediately, but does not by itself erase what is already stored.

Children

The extension is not directed at children under 13, in line with Twitch's own minimum age for holding an account.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes are announced on the channel.
